I hope you’re well, thank you so much for Wednesday night!

As it always happens with these types of event there are always a bunch of VIP RSVP’s roll in that I had to accept (State Minister’s and City Councillor’s etc) which pushed up my numbers for the night. can’t say no to the Minster for the Arts! Or the Commonwealth Games!

Extending the catering numbers at such late stage to 120 from 100 never bothered you and I can’t thank you enough for being so flexible. Especially under the prevailing circumstances of wind and rain on such a large scale open air dinner…
You and your team took it in your stride and went out of your way to make sure everything went as smooth as possible.

We can’t wait for next year and having Anise cater our opening dinner once again.

Thank you, EVERYONE has been raving about how great the food was, Michael and I very sadly didn’t get any canapés which I am so bummed about as it was such a joy selecting and salivating over them.
We were too busy having to talk to everybody ..
But the dinner we had was so amazing!

Hi Brendon,

We are sitting at the airport about to fly to Fiji but I just wanted to write and say a big thank you for your work on the weekend and leading up to the wedding. Once again all the weather websites were wrong, just not in our favour! 

Despite that, you could probably tell we had an exceptional day and the compliments about the food and service were as free flowing as the rain. I could not be happier with the catering, you and your team did an incredible job, especially considering the circumstances. 

It was a memorable day and an epic party. Thank you so much and please pass on my thanks to your staff. 

I hope you manage to get all your gear out okay, and stay dry. I just spoke to Mum and she said the weather got really wild yesterday, so given that we were really lucky!

It was an amazing event. The food was just spectacular and everyone had a blast. Thank you so much.
 
One of your female staff even gave me a hair tie, as it was so hot on the dance floor I was looking for a bit of string off the menu but they’d all been packed away, so she gave me her hair tie. Such a sweetheart. 
 
We have our annual conference in two weeks, so how about we catch up after that? Then I might have a week where I can almost breathe, and then I am full on into planning for Prague and Budapest (about 125 of our people go on a week-long trip, which I get to go on too).
 
As you say, they aren’t huge drinkers especially with more and more of them being Chinese these days. I thought some of the Aussies would make up for that, but I guess not. Your bar tenders were great too. All in all, very well done.

Brendon and the team at Anise were recommended to us by our wedding coordinator Rachael of The Events Lounge.
We met with Brendon at the Anise kitchen and he immediately put us at ease.
We discussed our day and our food in great depth all the while enjoying some items Brendon had already prepared for us.
On our wedding day the Anise team were seamless. Our reception in Newrybar was greeted by impeccable staff and a wonderful service of champagne and oysters on ice.
Our reception at Secret Garden truly blew us away. The food was to die for and on a few occasions I lost my newlywed husband to the smells of the wood fired BBQ Brendon was laboring over.
Our guests are still talking about it a year later and we can not recommend the team at Anise more highly.
The care and effort they put into making sure our wedding was an experience both ourselves and our guests will always remember was truly exceptional.

Its amazing how quickly time flies. Feels like last week that I was ringing to ask about whether we could have wheels of cheese for the cake and whether you thought it was a good idea to serve the cocktail out of mason jars.

A massive thank you for all your did to make our day so incredible. Your staff were exceptional, the service unprecedented and the food was delicious. There is not one thing about the day or our menu that I would have changed (apart from the fact that despite my passion for the ‘cold rock style’ dessert bar, I didn’t even get to it! boo!)

Firstly – My upmost thanks , congratulations and appreciation to you and your team. From the moment Karen referred us to you and ‘said – relax you’re in good hands’ – I did – and let you do your thing. Now for a uptight control freak from Melbourne that wasn’t my normal game plan – but you never let me down – in fact you exceled. Your energy, enthusiasm and passion for what you do was infections – you are clearly very talented – but beyond that you deliver it in a way that makes everyone feel at ease and engage knowing that you have the people and events interests at heart and will go the extra mine to ensure that it’s a success for all.

The food – Brendo just superb!!! We were very lucky to have you on board, I can still remember the taste’s and aroma’s – from the whole snapper (mind blowing) to the mini lamb burgers (I’d fly back up just for one more).

The bar – Remy {legend} what can I say, made with love, served with passion and devoured with gusto!!
